METIS is a Horizon 2020 project whose mission is to develop and improve tools and methodologies employed in seismic safety assessments of nuclear reactors and translate this research into practice for industry use. The project will also develop common guidelines to facilitate periodic safety reviews, promote good practices under the Nuclear Safety Directive and enable risk-informed decision-making, and as a result, directly contribute to the safety and competitiveness of the European nuclear industry.
Applications are now being accepted for the METIS Summer School on Seismic Hazard Analysis, to be held at in Pavia (Italy) from 20th to 23rd June 2022.
The Euratom Conferences FISA 2022 – EURADWASTE ’22, organised by the French Presidency of the Council of the EU and the European Commission, will take place from 30 May to 3 June 2022 in Lyon, France.
This will be the third plenary meeting, it will be a hybrid project meeting (mix of in-person and virtual participants) and will be held over two days 6th-7th June 2022.
