The METIS Seismic Hazard Workshop is a 2-day event organised as part of the activities carried out in Work Package 4. The workshop aims to jointly disseminate results achieved within the project and present recent advances within different areas of seismic hazard analysis (SHA).

The Institute Static and Dynamics of Structures from the Rheinland-Pfälzische Technische Universität (RPTU) is hosting a training school on seismic probabilistic risk assessment (SPRA). The school, tailored to Master, Ph.D., and postdoctoral students, takes place at the RPTU premises in Kaiserslautern (Germany) from June 22nd and 23rd, 2023.

The 3rd METIS plenary meeting took place from June 6th – 7th in Athens, Greece, hosted by partner NTUA. The first day of the meeting, the WP leaders presented their updates and milestones while the second day was dedicated to working meetings and technical focus sessions on site response analysis, aftershocks in PRA and METIS case study.
The METIS Summer School on Seismic Fragility, was held in Pavia in June 2022.
The METIS Summer School on Seismic Fragility, will be held in person at Athens (Greece) from 8th to 9th June 2022. It will be organised by the Institute of Steel Structures at the Zografou Campus of the National Technical University of Athens.
Applications are now being accepted for the METIS Summer School on Seismic Hazard Analysis, to be held at in Pavia (Italy) from 20th to 23rd June 2022.
The Euratom Conferences FISA 2022 – EURADWASTE ’22, organised by the French Presidency of the Council of the EU and the European Commission, will take place from 30 May to 3 June 2022 in Lyon, France.
This will be the third plenary meeting, it will be a hybrid project meeting (mix of in-person and virtual participants) and will be held over two days 6th-7th June 2022.
This is the second plenary meeting, following the first plenary meeting that was held fully virtually in April 2021.
